Painting
This class introduces the foundational concepts for of oil and acrylic painting, covering composition, value, color, materials, and techniques. Students paint from still life or other reference materials. Drawing experience is helpful. Students need to acquire supplies for this class.
Each class is 1 hour 45 minutes.
Drop-in: $55/class (Member $50/class).
Monthly plan: $50/class (Member $45/class).
Semester plan: $40/class (Member only)
Clay Figrine
The course will take you through the whole process of sculpting a figurine to a very high finish, with an emphasis on getting the anatomical structure correct at the beginning. This is key to achieving a likeness. We will show you how to train your eye to see objectively, so you can learn to trust your own judgement.
Each class is 2 hours.
