By submitting an entry to ArtBridge 2026: The Youth Art Exchange, the participant (and their parent/legal guardian if the participant is under 18) agrees to the following: 1. Originality & AI Policy All submitted works must be the original artwork created solely by the participant. Artwork must not be copied from existing works or generated entirely by Artificial Intelligence (AI) without meaningful human input. Participants certify that they own all rights to the submitted artwork. 2. Grant of Rights (Usage License) The participant retains the copyright to their original work. By entering, the participant grants the American Academy of Fine Arts (AAFA) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to reproduce, display, and distribute the artwork for the 2026 awards ceremony, online exhibitions, and promotional materials related to ArtBridge. AAFA is granted permission to use the participant’s name, age group, and artwork title in connection with the competition and any resulting publicity. 3. Submission & Technical Requirements Participants may submit a maximum of three (3) artworks. A non-refundable registration fee of $10 is required per participant. Files must be submitted in JPG, PNG, or PDF format. 2D works should be high-resolution (recommended ≥300 dpi) and 3D works must include photos from multiple angles. Each entry must include an Artist Statement (100–200 words) explaining the connection to the “Impressions of China” theme. 4. Judging & Awards All eligible works will be reviewed by an expert judging panel. Only one (1) prize may be awarded per participant, regardless of the number of submissions. The decisions of the judges are final and binding in all matters. 5. Liability & Waiver AAFA is not responsible for technical failures, lost submissions, or unauthorized use of artwork by third parties. The participant agrees to indemnify and hold AAFA harmless from any claims of copyright infringement brought by third parties regarding the submitted work.
