Daily Schedule

The creative drawing class (grade k-2, online): the content is combined with children's creative drawing and comprehensive materials by hand, and step-by-step train children's hand muscles to master the drawing tools and basic drawing skills. Learn to use color and space layout for creative expression. Appreciation classes for excellent picture book illustrations have also been added. Instructing children to draw complex scenes through painting has been creatively imagined.

Basic sketching (grade 2-7, online): Sketch is the foundation of all painting creation. Students will learn this independent art form from the basic geometric shapes and still life, animal explanations, perspectives, and changes in light and shadow. Focus on solving general exercises, composition, proportions, structural analysis, and tone expression. Learn to master technical expression and artistic expression rules. Correctly grokking the relationship between subjective and objective, perceptual and rational, and overall and local.

Advance Sketch Class (grade 6-12, online): Master the intermediate sketch drawing techniques and improve the understanding of sketch through combination training and artistic expression. Students work on both still life and Plaster cast.

Watercolor (grade k-12, online):: Watercolor painting is widely used. Not only can sketching landscapes be used as the subject of the creation, but also in design renderings, watercolor is a color expression carrier that is often seen. In this course, through the depiction of still life and landscape, students will master the characteristics of watercolor, learn to control water and paint, use colors, and learn the basic painting techniques of watercolor, so as to complete your own paintings.

Portrait Sketch (grade 6-12, online): Learn the basic head structure, facial features ratio, skull, and muscle anatomy, through training to complete the final portrait. Students will systematically learning portrait sketches.

Wednesday 1:30-3:00 pm

 

Portfolio (high school students, onsite). Preparing an art school portfolio for college admission is not a casual undertaking, it’s very common for high school students to underestimate how much time and labor is involved. You’re going to develop your skills and artistic thinking process tremendously by the act of producing the artworks for your portfolio. In this course, students will prepare their portfolio according to the specific requirements. The number of students is limited and the reservation is required.

Tuition

Sketch and watercolor (1.5 hours/class):

Weekly tuition: $40 for 1 class, $80 for 2 classes, $100 for 3 classes, $110 for 4 classes

Creative drawing classes (1 hour/class):

Weekly tuition: $25 for 1 class, $50 for 2 classes, $65 for 3 classes

Portfolio: $40/hour for small group students. $60/hour for one on one class.
