Events & party at AAFA
We, aafa, offer private group parties/workshops/masterclasses which are a fun and innovative way to get a group of friends together on one specific date or on a regular basis. Reservations are required. Email us <yanz@aafa.info> for more details or to set up a private event.
To Do
Attendees minimum age of 5 for a nice result of artwork. Minimum 6 to 20 attendees for a private party plus one or two parents stay.
Our studio: before party set up and after clean up. Art supplies, tools with instructional fun lessons;
You: optional your own catering such as pizza, cake, balloons. Table cloth, napkins, paper cups, plates, forks, candles and match, goody bags.
Sundays 1 pm - 3 pm; 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm; 6 pm-8 pm.
This is a drop-off party for a total of 90 minutes or 120 minutes, comprising an artwork with 1 art instructor step-by-step demonstration and guidance, while a photo-taking time, cake time (2 hours only) for the grand finale!
"For events with more than 12 participants, there will be a $10 discount for each person starting from the 13th participant."
Watercolor Painting: 1.5 hours, Painting on watercolor paper, 9x12″ to awaken your artistic spirit and discover endless possibilities of creativity. $40 / student (materials and tax included)
Creative Acrylic Painting: 1.5 hours, Painting on canvas, 9 x12″to awaken your artistic spirit and discover endless possibilities of creativity. $40 / student (materials and tax included)
Clay Sculpting: 1.5 hours, From pinch pots, coils snacks to slab build masterpieces. $45 / student (materials and tax included)
Extended Hours: Pay after the event if applicable.
$30 for 10-15 minutes; $50 for 16-30 minutes, $100 for 31-60 minutes
FAQs
Q: WHAT IF LESSER GUESTS SHOW UP IN THE PARTY? CAN I PAY A LOWER AMOUNT OF THE ORIGINAL FLAT FEE?
Please confirm the final number of guests with us 2 or 3 days before the party. If our instructors who are already scheduled come in without your notice, the original flat fee shown in the registration form will still be charged.
Q: HOW EARLY CAN WE ARRIVE THE STUDIO TO PREPARE ON THE PARTY DATE?
15 minutes before the party’s scheduled time would be perfect. Our staff will be here half-hour earlier on the party day. All you need to do is to bring in catering, cake, food from your car, which takes about 5 minutes. then waiting for the guests.
Q: IS IT POSSIBLE ALL THE PARENTS CAN STAY FOR MY CHILD’S PARTY?
Please understand, in order to get each guest bring home a great art piece, the young artists need some quiet and concentration time. It is possible, but we add fees to your total for the extra effort of instruction. When we get more than 3 parents in the room, they are excited to chat– understandable, but it gets too loud and the kids get distracted during art time.
Cancellation
We understand things change so we made it flexible for you. There is no fee to reschedule the party, use the credit for another person, or towards our other art program within 2 months.
If canceled by you: Please cancel within 30 days before the party, so other people possibly can use the very limited weekend session, your payment with less $50 will be refunded to you. If the cancellation is less than 30 days, sorry no refund.
If canceled by AAFA (has not happened before): A full refund will be issued.
